The Market now accepts EBT cards!
We are located at the Catholic Charities Thrift Store at 1320 E. 23rd Street in Wilmington.
The Market is the Food Bank’s low-cost shopping store. In an effort to help Delawareans save money on their monthly grocery bill and alleviate the burdens of a slowing economy, the store is open to the public to purchase low-price household staples. From cereal and juices to cosmetics and cleaning supplies, the store is stocked to meet a household’s needs.
The Food Bank of Delaware is committed to feeding as many Delawareans as possible and recognizes that not all qualify for food stamps and other food-assistance programs.
Shoppers can expect to save 50 to 75 percent off their grocery bill by purchasing groceries from The Market!
All food sold in The Market is purchased by the Food Bank of Delaware from national retailers and food wholesalers. Proceeds benefit the Food Bank’s other hunger-relief programs. Products are stocked daily and inventory will vary based on availability.
