The Food Bank of Delaware needs your help replenishing our shelves. From now through Super Bowl Sunday, you can make the assist by helping us collect canned soups for those in need in our community.

Here’s how you can help!

  • Throwing a Super Bowl party? Ask each person to bring at least one can of soup with them
  • Run a restaurant or bar that is hosting a Super Bowl party? Consider offering a small discount to everyone who brings a can of soup with them to donate.
  • Have a neighborhood clubhouse?  Set up a collection box for residents to deposit their soup donations.
  • Churches, collect cans of soup at Super Bowl Sunday services.

Drop off your donations to our specially-marked Super Bowl collection box at the Newark and Milford facilities or one of our statewide collection sites.

If you collect more than 20 bags, we can even arrange a pick-up.  Our goal is to collect 2,025 pounds of soup by February 17.

And no matter who wins the game, we all win when we tackle hunger together!
