What is the ticket cost per person, and what is included?

Tickets are $50 per person and include small plate menu (think tapas style), complementary adult beverages (beer, wine, and seltzer), and the ambiance of a music filled, candle-lit Food Bank Farm.

What should I wear?

The event takes place on natural terrain – on the grounds of the Food Bank Farm. Please dress accordingly and remember to wear comfortable shoes. It often gets chilly in the evening (even after a warm day) so please come prepared with a jacket or blankets to keep you comfortable. Guests tend to dress up a little for our events, but jeans and casual attire are not out of place.

Will I receive an event ticket?

Your ticket purchase confirmation email will serve as your event ticket. All guests will check-in at the registration table. If you need to transfer tickets or you did not list guest names when you purchased your tickets, please let your guest(s) know to give your name (or the name you registered with) at the registration table.

How will I know where to sit?

The event will offer beer garden style seating where folks can sit with the group they came with, yet remain distant from others if they wish. We will have seating for two people, four people, and another area for 6-8 people all spaced more than 6 feet apart. We will also have a long community table where folks can gather and space as needed. AND we’ll have fire pit areas with hay bale and bench seating spaced apart from each other.

What is the menu?

The menu is prepared by the Food Bank of Delaware Culinary School. Dinner will be presented in a modified, student served buffet. Guests can try the small plates and come back for more as they wish. The menu offering can be found at www.fbd.org/menu

What if it rains?

Rain or shine! Don’t sweat the weather, we will stage the event in an area of the farm and warehouse that is sheltered. We will notify folks in advance of the rain plan so you can plan accordingly. We acknowledge some guests may not be comfortable dining indoors, and we will offer a take-out version of the food for those who feel more comfortable dining at home. In this case, please email msullivan@fbd.org to reserve a take-out meal.

What COVID protocols are in place?

For the safety of our guests, our staff, our students, and those we support, we ask that you are fully vaccinated to attend this event. If you are unable to be vaccinated we ask that you take a PCR COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event, and the results must be negative.

We know uncertainties continue to emerge amidst the changing circumstances surrounding the variants, and we will keep the FAQ up to date as changes are made. We want to take every precaution possible to keep our community healthy.

Everyone is required to wear masks indoors, regardless of their vaccination status, and maintain safe social distancing.

In the event the rain plan is put in place, and the event is moved indoors, we ask that guests wear their mask indoors when they cannot maintain social distance, and when they are in the kitchen and café or in the restroom.

Guests must provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the event. “Full vaccination” means that the final COVID-19 vaccine dose was administered at least 14 days in advance of the event. Authentic proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test will be accepted, as long as the test was taken within the specified time frame through a medical or accredited company. At-home tests will not be accepted, as they are less reliable for asymptomatic individuals.

At check-in, guests can present a paper copy of their vaccination card or negative test results, or they may show an electronic copy of their vaccination card or negative test results on their mobile device. Adults will also need to show valid identification matching the vaccination card/test results.

In addition, all event attendees and staff will be asked health screen questions at the event registration table. If you have had any of the following symptoms in the last 48 hours, PLEASE DO NOT attend the event (you may still transfer the ticket): fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste of smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea. The Food Bank of Delaware will evaluate its event attendance policy in consultation with public health guidance. Questions pertaining to this protocol may be directed to msullivan@fbd.org.
