Please note, the Food Bank of Delaware cannot accept hard candy, lollipops, soda in cans and bottles, chocolate bars or pieces, gum and soft candy such as marshmallows, caramels, taffy, licorice and gummy items.
Donated food is accepted at our warehouses in Newark and Milford weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. For the Newark facility, please pull around to the back of the facility (loading dock area) and enter the first glass door labeled Healthy Pantry Center and Community Food Drive Donations. Click here for a list of other statewide drop-off sites.
The Food Bank of Delaware relies on the generosity of the community to help feed hungry people. The Food Bank solicits, warehouses and distributes food through a network of 536 hunger-relief program partners. Our partners include food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters and other community food providers. In turn, agencies prepare balanced, nutritious meals or distribute food items to those with limited resources. Please help us feed more hungry Delawareans by donating to the Food Bank of Delaware.
