Winter Wonderfest Light Spectacular to benefit local nonprofits, including Food Bank of Delaware

November 18, 2016

Make plans to attend the inaugural Winter Wonderfest in Lewes.

The festival officially opens today and runs through Jan. 1.

Use code FOODBANK when purchasing Light Spectacular tickets and a portion of each ticket will support the Food Bank! This offer is good all season-long!

The festival promises to boost holiday spirits while helping local non-profits, like the Food Bank.

Festival-goers can enjoy Winter Wonderfest at two separate but adjacent locations.

The Light Spectacular display brightens up a section of Cape Henlopen State Park. From the comfort of your vehicle, drive through a designated 15-20 minute loop to enjoy about 60 displays. Tickets, starting at $15 per car when purchased in advance online, are now available at www.wonderfestde.org.

Tickets will also be available at the gate, not only for cars but also for party buses and school groups.

But that’s not all. A Christmas Village, complete with a giant Ferris wheel, outdoor ice skating, Santa’s workshop, gingerbread house and more, will be set up at the Cape May Lewes Ferry Terminal. There is no parking or gate fee, but attractions do require two-10 tickets per activity per person. Tickets for attractions can be purchased at the Christmas Village or online.

On Saturday, November 26 a portion of all donations received at the Giving Tree will support the Food Bank!
