Food Bank to offer community cooking classes

Join Food Bank of Delaware’s Executive Chef Tim Hunter for the Food Bank’s first community cooking class! Students will learn how to make basic soups and sauces in a commercial kitchen, and these skills will easily transfer to their home kitchen.
Participants will take home a sauce and a soup at the end of the 2-hour class.
The class is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 12 at the Food Bank of Delaware, Milford, 1040 Mattlind Way, and again from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 19 at the Food Bank of Delaware, 14 Garfield Way, Newark.
The cost is $35 per person, with a 20 student class limit.
Light refreshments will be available during class.
Additional community classes will be offered later in the year.
